Rx Partnership and Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center Highlight Success of Free Medication Program for Those in Need

 

On Friday, November 29, 2017 from 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM, Rx Partnership representatives will join staff, community funders and state elected representatives at Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center in Williamsburg on Friday, December 1, to highlight the successes of a new statewide initiative to provide free generic medications to people in need.

The Access to Medication Program, or AMP, provides critically needed generic medications to low-income, uninsured patients at free clinics and community health centers across Virginia. Olde Towne Medical & Dental Center was the first location to pilot this program.

Representatives of the media are invited at 10:45 a.m. to learn about the impact this program has had in its first 10 months and future expansion plans across Virginia, speak to practitioners and tour the clinic.
