WHO WE ARE
Rx Partnership is a critical part of the health care safety net that provides affordable brand and generic medications to low-income, uninsured Virginians.
RxP was the FIRST IN THE NATION to use a broker model to provide donated bulk medications to free clinics.
RxP is VIRGINIA’S ONLY organization dedicated exclusively to medication access for low-income uninsured individuals.
WHAT WE DO
Through Rx Partnership’s innovative programs, RxP secures both donated medications and leverages purchasing power to buy critically needed medications for our clinic partners serving vulnerable Virginians.
Our cost-effective programs ensure hardworking, vulnerable Virginians have access to the medications they need to manage their chronic conditions, continue working and live healthy and productive lives.
RxP provides 234 medications to treat multiple chronic conditions, including:
Depression
Anxiety
Asthma/COPD
High-Blood Pressure
Diabetes
WHO WE SERVE
RxP works through a network of 30 clinic partners, with and without pharmacies, across 86 Virginia localities, to supply brand & generic medications to low-income, uninsured Virginians.

WHY WE EXIST
Over 39% of Virginia households face financial hardships and struggle to afford basic household necessities.
These households face difficult choices, such as choosing between healthcare, child care, healthy food or living expenses (United Way ALICE Project). Despite Medicaid Expansion in 2019, over 300,000 Virginians are left uninsured who are not eligible for Medicaid.
NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO WITHOUT THE MEDICATION THEY NEED!
